The Certified Home Care Sales Professional™ is a designation created by Leading Home Care… a Tweed Jeffries company to identify those home health care sales professionals who have demonstrated exceptional competency in home care sales. This is an earned designation based on education, experience, knowledge and performance.

The 2008 Home Care Sales Professional conference is just your first step toward earning your CHCSP™ designation. The designation requires:

  • Completion of 15 hours of sales training
  • Minimum of two consecutive years of experience in home care sales
  • A passing score on the written examination
  • Demonstrated proficiency in acquiring home care referrals that turn into admissions

Renata Cichowicz, CHCSP
I am Renata Cichowicz, born and raised in Poland. I came to the United States in 1993 with my husband Andy, my son Matt, and my daughter Joanna to start a new life. It was a very challenging time to live in a country where you cannot communicate (because we did not speak English), you do not know the culture, and the expectations.
 
Since we voluntarily decided to make the move, we had two choices.  To ignore it or appreciate the invitation and take an advantage of learning about the new culture that we decided to join. It was very difficult for my husband to accept the changes; therefore, I had to stay strong. I began the journey as a student while working full-time. I completed English classes and enrolled myself in college where I learned much about the culture.  I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Health Administration and am now working on my Masters Degree in Health Administration with a completion date of December 2008.
 
Currently, I am working as a Director of Business Development for Ingalls Home Health Agency (Hickory Hills, IL.) where I focus on business development and also on the development of my team and of myself.
 
When people ask me how I am handling all these responsibilities and are staying positive my response is very simple: "You can do everything that you put your mind on if it is done with sincerity and persistence."
 
The Home Care Sales Professional training program gave me a memorable experience and a package filled with knowledge, expertise, and sprinkled with friendliness and sincerity.
