Summit seems so far away, especially because spring is slow in coming! My calendar, and all the deadlines I have in it, tell me the conference is much closer than we think, and the speakers will probably agree! This year I'm trying to keep up with them all ... almost 15. We have some new speakers with great specialties like Miranda Walton, a cardiac nurse who will teach on disease process and coding with circulatory and respiratory codes. I remember last year when we made the emphasis of our wound coding be on the disease process, then how to code from there. It got such great feedback, we extended that idea to those well-known and coded circulatory codes.
That's just one new thing swirling for Summit, and I counted up (and marked up) my brochure with more than 10 new formats or new teaching subjects. Want to see them all? Check out the brochure tab on this site!
