- A solid strategy to improve data gathering.
- Tips to review assessments to pick out clues to coding.
- How to improve your assessment and get the proper answers on your OASIS.

Preconference II: Beginner’s Coding Boot Camp
An intensive coding basics workshop designed to teach and/or
reinforce your understanding of the steps to accurate diagnosis
coding. You’ll spend the day:
Navigating the ICD-9 Volumes – formatting
and language clues that indicate the correct codes, key terms, conventions
and punctuation, the basics of sequencing, how V codes interact
and more.
Working through scenario-based exercises with expert
instruction on the general rules for selecting the most appropriate
codes for diabetes, wounds, fractures and more!
